Transition

My job at Basic Cable Competition Show ends on Friday, and I may be taking a very short term gig on Mysterious Network Reality Show that would start next Monday. Couple that with some off auditions as of late, I'm feeling a bit at sea, a bit unmoored as it were. I had an audition last week for a Basic Cable Kids' Sitcom (not the one I did before) that went rather... oddly. They gave me a huge note to change everything I did and then said "And go!" That pretty much set me up to fail, and I didn't really do anything to mitigate that. That sent me into, to quote Cher from Clueless a "shame cycle" of being very cranky and rather bitter... pretty much about everything. I'm still crawling out from that, every so slowly. [Singing] "It's hard out there for an actor..."
